Race Highlights
The reigning PAC Champions finished off the 2024 season with a strong showing at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Meet on Saturday. Miguel Daez led the way with a 29th place finish with a strong time of 25:41.3 in the eight kilometer race. By placing in the Top35, Daez earns All-Region honors for the second time in his decorated, collegiate career. In 2021, he placed 33rd to earn this honor, as this is his best finish in a regional meet over his five year career. 

Not far behind Daez was Andrew Madigan in 50th with a time of 26:11.2 for a 110 spot improvement on his finish at last season's regional meet. Luke Hurley continued his impressive freshman season with a 124th place finish to be the third fastest Baron today. Seamus Sommers was just five seconds behind Hurley in 129th, and Conal Delaney rounded out the top five finishers for Franciscan in 135th. 

With 467 teams points, Franciscan placed 17th out of 43 teams present today. Calvin took home the team title with 99 points. Brayden Curnutt of Wabash took the individual title by beating the field by 12 seconds.
