Franciscan 0, Chatham 0
Starting XI
Zachary Muldoon, Aidan Henninger, Joseph St. George, Benjamin James, Anthony Venditti, Jonathan Schriner, Julien Freeman, Joshua Atkinson, Lucas Cross, Ryan Miller, & Goalkeeper - Aiden Miller
How It Happened
In recent years the Barons have had a lot of success against the Cougars. Today their defense was tight and extremely physical. Even though the Barons dominated possession and took 20 shots compared to Catham's 6, the opportunities allotted were low quality. Of the 20 shots taken just 9 were on goal and had a chance of scoring. In the post-game interview, coach explained that even though his guys played extremely well and was happy with their performance, sometimes the ball does roll your way and shots don't fall.
Inside the Numbers
- St. George had a game-high 6 shots and 3 shots on goal
- A. Miller recorded 3 saves
- R. Miller's yellow card is his second of the year
Who's Next?
Franciscan will continue PAC play at home on Tuesday when Washington & Jefferson comes to Steubenville. The Barons are 5-8-2 all-time against the Presidents with a tie coming in last season's matchup.
Lucas Cross score a pair of first half goals in that game that ended in a final score of 2-2. The Presidents are coming off a scoreless tie to the reigning PAC Champions from Geneva.
