The Latest
- The Barons picked up their ninth win of the season in thrilling fashion against Westminster on Saturday at Finnegan Fieldhouse. Josh Zimmerman went coast to coast to score the winning layup with a few seconds remaining to send the home faithful home happy.

- Sawyer Butler led the Barons with 24 points, and Josh Zimmerman scored 23 points with 11 rebounds for a double-double.

- With nine wins, this year's team has won more than each of the last two seasons. The Barons last won 10 games in the 2021-22 season.

Scouting the Presidents
- Washington & Jefferson beat Franciscan 68-54 in Steubenville back in November, but both teams have grown over the last two months of play. Last season, the Barons beat the Presidents in Washington 66-61. 

- Four different Presidents are averaging double-digit scoring this season. They are led by Nathan Plotner at 14.8 ppg for the forward from Parkersburg, W.Va.

Sawyer's Stellar Sophomore Season
- Sawyer Butler leads the Barons with 18.0 ppg, which is second-best of all the players in the PAC.

- He has scored 20+ points in seven games this season with the Barons going 6-1 in those games.

Steubenville's Own
- Josh Zimmerman is coming off one of his best weeks of the season. Over two games, he averaged 22.0 ppg, 9.5 rpg, and six steals a game to help the Barons go 1-1.

- He leads the team in steals and assists while shooting a strong 47.4% from the floor this season.

- Josh Zimmerman enters this game with 1,299 points to have the seventh most all-time. Don Rogich '79 sits in sixth with 1,394 points. Sean Hickey '21 holds the Franciscan Division III record with 1,692 points, and Paul Brownlee '56 sits atop the all-time rankings with 2,433 points.

-Zimmerman holds a pair of program records. He is top in all-time assists with 301, and he is the program's all-time leader in steals with 228.

- He sits 12th all-time in rebounding with 655 boards. Bill Linderman '71 sits in 11th with 672 rebounds.  Matt Trent '20 holds the Franciscan Division III record with 781 rebounds, and "Big" Jim Smith '58 sits atop the rankings and all levels of collegiate basketball with 2,334 rebounds.

- He has played in 105 games so far over his six seasons in Steubenville which is tied for 5th most ever played by a Baron since 1946. With his next game player, he will move into a tie for 4th with Dan Rogich '79 and Fr. Tim Hirten '75. Jim Smith played in the most with 113 over four years for the two-time All-American.
