- The Barons return to the pool after compiling a 4-7 record this regular season, including a 3-3 PAC record.
- Franciscan last swam at Chatham on January 24th. They dropped by just two points to Chatham, and they fell to Juniata in a non-conference matchup as well.
Last Year's Championship
- The Barons placed 4th out of eight teams at last year's championship with 337 team points. The hosts from Grove City took home the team title with 1031.5 points over the four-day championship.
- Their fourth place finish was their best finish as a team at this Championship. Before then, they placed 3rd at the AMCC Championship in the 2019-20 season, but the AMCC had just six teams that season.

Katarina Antonov made eight trips to the podium last season between individual and relay events which was the most by any Baron. The 2023 PAC Newcomer of the Year returns this season ready to make a major impact once again.
Championship Schedule
- Wednesday's finals will begin at 6 p.m. All preliminary swimming sessions will begin at 10 a.m. each day, with finals sessions beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. All relays will be timed Final events to be completed only in the evening session.
-Â Wednesday evening will begin with the 200 Medley Relay, followed by diving preliminaries and the evening will close with the 800 Free Relay. Then on Thursday evening, the 400 Medley Relay will be the final event and Friday evening's competition will conclude with the 200 Free Relay. In addition, the gender order will reflect the NCAA Championships such that women will compete first in odd years.
-Â The annual senior recognition celebrations will begin at 5:00 p.m. Saturday.Â
