Athletes to Watch
- Four Barons were listed as Athletes to Watch for the upcoming Championship
-
Ryan Ozymy (Gr. Ennis, Texas / Avalon) is seeded 1st in the 800m, as we head into the Championship. He just broke his program record with a time of 1:53.21 at the Texas Invitational in Austin. He will also be a part of the 4x400 relay team that is seeded fifth. The 11x All-PAC runner is one of the most decorated runners in program history. He looks to have an impressive Championship and an entire month of May to close out his collegiate career.
-
John Sicree (Jr. Boalsburg, Pa. / Homeschool) looks to become the first to medal in the 400m hurdles since the 2018 season. He is seeded second in that event, and he will also be a part of the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams. He was a part of the 4x400 relay team that took golf at the Indoor Championship in February.
-
Thomas Baillargeon (Fr. Bloomingdale, Ohio / Steubenville Catholic Central) looks to make some noise in his first Outdoor PAC Championship. Individually, he will run in the 100m and 200m. He is seeded seventh in the 100m, as he hopes to make the finals and earn some points. He will also be on the 4x100 relay that is seeded sixth.
-Â
Nicholas Brass (Jr. Byron, Ill. / Byron) is the program record holder in the shot put and hopes to earn some points in the field this week. Last season, he was named Honorable Mention All-PAC at the Outdoor Championship. His season-best throw of 13.47m has him seeded fifth.
