The Latest
- The Barons placed 6th out of 11 teams at the PAC Indoor Championship, but they are ready to climb the rankings at the Outdoor Championship this week.

- Franciscan competed in six outdoor meets this season which started back in Myrtle Beach on Spring Break.

- With two weeks between competitions, the Barons are rested and ready to compete in West Virginia for the first time this season.

Athletes to Watch
- Four Barons were listed as Athletes to Watch for this Championship

- Lauren Dosch (So. Grand Forks, N.D. / Red River) comes into the Championship after earning All-Region Honors in the 800m from the Indoor Season. She has continued to improve, as she is nationally ranked in the 800m and is in position for another All-Region honor. She is seeded 1st in that event, as she looks to defend her crown from last season. She will also be a part of the 4x400 relay team that earned Second Team All-PAC honors in 2024.

- Jessica Campbell (Sr. Medina, Ohio / Medina) will be one of the busiest Barons at this year's championship, as she will participate in three events. She will join Dosch in the 800m, and she will be in the final heat, as she is seeded fifth. She is also seeded 12th, as she looks to crack the top eight to reach the podium. Campbell will also be a part of the 4x400 relay. They look to improve upon their second-place finish last season, but they come into the championship seeded fifth from their best time of 4:15.24 at the Grove City Mini Invitational

- Claire Walters (Sr. Manlius, N.Y. / Fayetteville-Manlius) will compete in a pair of events in her final collegiate conference championship. She is seeded fourth in the 1500m and 6th in the 5000m. Two seasons ago, she earned First Team All-PAC honors in the 1500m as well as All-Region recognition.

- Mariana Lavigne (Fr. North Dighton, Mass. / Homeschool) looks to bring the Barons some points in the javelin. She is seeded fifth with a best throw of 35.20m. That throw helped her earn PAC Newcomer of the Week honors in March. She will be the first Baron to compete, as javelin should begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Year's Championship Performance
- With 38 points, the Barons placed 7th out of 11 competing teams at the 2024 PAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

- The 4x400 relay team of Claire Walters, Jessica Campbell, Lauren Dosch, and Rebecca Bolster earned Second Team All-PAC honors. Brigid Mack earned the same recognition in the discus.

- Lauren Dosch was the lone Baron to earn First Team All-PAC recognition, as she did so in the 800m.
