The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced their men's lacrosse All-Conference awards on Thursday.
Joseph James (So. Herndon, Va. / The Heights School) headlines a list of three Barons to earn All-Conference honors, as he was named Second Team All-PAC.
Nathaniel Carter (Jr. McLean, Va. / Trinity School at Meadow View) and
Dominic Miraglia (Sr. Ladera Ranch, Calif. / JSera Catholic) earned Honorable Mention All-PAC honors.
James played and started in 11 games while battling through injuries in his second collegiate season. He recorded 67 points with 52 goals and 15 assists on the season. His 4.73 goals pere game leads the nation, as he hopes to secure his second NCAA statistical title. He also gathered 34 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers. Seven of his goals came in man-up play, and three of his goals counted as game-winners. He scored 10+ points in three games this season, including an 11 point day to conclude the season at Washington & Jefferson.
Carter tallied 48 points over 14 games played in his final season with the Barons. He scored 30 goals and added 18 assists. He also gathered a career-high 34 ground balls this season. At La Roche he had a season-high eight points with six goals scored in the victory. He scored one or more goals in every game this season for the Barons. This is his first All-PAC honor of his career.
Miraglia was a dominant force on the back end for the Barons after missing the first half of the season due to injury. He played in eight games, including seven starts while not missing a PAC contest. He gathered 10 ground balls and caused three turnovers. This is the first All-PAC honoring for the California native.
The PAC also announced the All-Sportsmanship Team.
