The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced the Women's Cross Country weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon, and Franciscan had one player honored. Mary Worden (Fr. Fort Atkinson, Wis. / Fort Atkinson) was named PAC Newcomer of the Week.

Worden placed third overall in the 82-runner field at the Bethany Invitational. She ran a time of 23:57.3, with a mile pace of 6:25, making her the fastest freshman in the field by more than a minute.

This is the second time that she has earned a PAC Weekly honor. 

The Barons will return to action on Friday at the All-Ohio Championship which will be held at Cedarville this season.
