How It Happened
The men hosted the Hiram College Terriers in the PAC Quarterfinals and walked away with a 3-1 victory.
These two teams tied 1-1 in the regular season. Both teams understood this was going to be a close and dogfight battle. They men delivered nothing short of that going into the half scoreless in a very physical game.
In the second half, the Barons found lanes and took space well and put consistent pressure on the Terriers. They tallied three unanswered goals in the second half. They had only 20 minutes to protect their 3-0 lead.
The Terriers scored in the 74' off a deep throw in, but a red card in the 86' all but sealed the deal.
The Barons held their lead and move on to face a familiar foe in Grove City on the road next Wednesday for the PAC semifinals.
