Results

Highlights for the Women

  • In the 60m, Maria McInnis was just a hundredth of a second off of her season-best time, as she posted a time of 8.58 seconds. That time should keep her in qualifying position for the Conference Championship. She improved her time in the 200m, but it did not break into the Top 24 in the PAC standings.
  • Lauren Dosch was a few seconds off her season-best time in the 400m. She ran it in a time of 1:03.20, but she sits in the 8th position in the PAC standings from a previous time.
  • Anne O'Boyle, Kathryn Bolster, and Mary Kennedy ran in the 800m. They each posted times around 2:30, which will slightly improve their seeding in the PAC Championship.
  • Emily Maag ran a season-best time in the mile with a time of 5:25.11. She looks to continue to cut time and reach the podium in the coming weeks.
  • McInnis posted a best jump of 4.70m in the long jump. She currently sits in 8th in the PAC descending order which will safely get her into the Championship.
  • Teresa Meli was the fastest Baron in the 3000m with a time of 11:16.22.
  • In the 4x400m relay, the group of Kathryn Bolster, Mary Kennedy, Lauren Dosch, and Anne O'Boyle ran the fifth-fastest time in program history with a time of 4:18.14. Upon completion, that was the third-fastest time in the PAC so far this season.

Highlights for the Men

  • Andrew Menck was the fastest Baron in the 60m with a time of 7.42 seconds. He currently sits 15th-fastest in the PAC. Menck remained 9th in the conference in the 200m as well.
  • Joseph Rohde improved upon his season-best time in the 400m. His time of 49.66 seconds is the fifth fastest in Franciscan history, and currently jumps him up to the 2nd fastest in the PAC this season. Dwayne Gethard and John Sicree improved upon their times and look to have qualified for the PAC Championship.
  • Luke Hurley was the fastest Baron in the 800m. He remained in qualifying position with a time of 2:03.89.
  • Daniel Wilson dropped eight seconds off his best mile time. He made a significant jump in the PAC descending order from 15th to Top 5 in the entire conference.
  • Nicholas Brass posted a season-best throw of 12.69m in the shot put to climb in the standings and have some positive momentum heading into the Championship.
  • Maxwell Bruns made a significant jump in the rankings in the 3000m. He improved his time by 20 seconds with a time of 8:56.81. That jumps him up into the top eight, and more improvement to come for the first-year runner. Micah Bragg also helped secure a spot in the championship with a season-best time in this race.
  • The group of Dwayne Gethard, John Sicree, Thomas Baillargeon, and Joseph Rohde, in the 4x400m relay posted a time of 3:30.38 to place 11th. That cut 20 seconds of their time from earlier this season, and it was a great way to end the Barons' best meet of the season thus far.
