Franciscan Women's Tennis Reveals Fall 2026 Schedule

Steubenville, Ohio - Franciscan Women's Tennis released its fall 2026 schedule, which consists of 15 regular season contests before the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament that occurs in the middle of October.

The season starts with a three-match homestand at the Belleview Tennis Courts, beginning with the opener against PAC opponent Geneva on September 1st. After that, the team will play Fredonia on September 4th and Carlow on September 8th. The Baronesses then have four straight matches on the road, competing against Capital (September 12th), Indiana University East (September 12th), Westminster (September 23rd), and Waynesburg (September 24th).  in the capital, on September 7th. After a PAC home contest against Grove City on September 28th, the team is back on the road once again with matches at W&J (October 2nd) and Thiel (October 5th).

Following the Thiel match, the squad holds a three-match homestand, with matches against Saint Vincent (October 8th), Pitt-Greensburg (October 9th), and Allegheny (October 13th). To conclude the regular season, Franciscan plays Mount Aloysius (October 16th) and new PAC opponent Saint Francis (October 17th) on the road.

The top six teams in the conference standings will make the PAC Tournament with the top two teams receiving a bye into the semifinals. The PAC Tournament will start on October 13th with the quarterfinals. The semifinals will be on October 15th, and the Championship will be on October 17th at the highest remaining seed. The winner of the conference championship will then represent the PAC in the NCAA Tournament in May of 2026.

The Barons held a 10-7 record over the 2025-26 season with a 6-2 mark in conference play, finishing third in the conference. They made the PAC semifinals for the sixth year in a row last season. The team's spring 2027 schedule will be released at a later date.
