• PAC All-Conference Second Team (2021)

2021: He played and started in 30 games this season. Peterson batted .364 on the season, fourth best on the team this season. He had 40 hits, including seven doubles, a triple and a home run. He drove in 27 runs which tied with Ferrance for second most on the team. He had 12 multi-hit games on the year, including four three hit games. While playing all of the year at the hot corner, Peterson only had three errors to hae an impressive .959 fielding percentage. Peterson drove in a season high three runs on three different occasions.  Declan graduated with a degree in Communication Arts with a concentration in Digital Broadcasting & Production. Declan plans to play independent professional baseball in the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs with the Santa Fe Fuego with their season starting in June. 

2020: Played and started in all 11 games for the Barons ... batted .343, 4th best amongst qualifying batters on the team ... had 12 hits including a team high six doubles ... scored 10 runs while driving in three ... had two doubles in a game against Dominican (3/13) ... caught stealing on his lone attempt and had one error in the shortened season.

Prior to FUS: 2017 NLCC Conference Champion, 2x Sophomore Letter Winner, 2x Varsity Letter Winner ... played golf for three seasons

Personal: Minoring in Exercise Science ... attended Concordia University of Chicago ... patron saint is St. Sebastian
