STEUBENVILLE – The Franciscan women's soccer team has clinched the No. 6 seed in the 2018 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Tournament and will travel to D'Youville on Saturday for the opening round game.

The Lady Barons and Spartans will meet for the second time in a week as the two teams faced each other last Saturday in Steubenville. The teams played to a 0-0 2OT tie as Franciscan out-shot the Spartans 19-9. Franciscan enters Saturday's contest with an overall record of 5-10-1 and a 4-4-1 record in the AMCC. D'Youville
The Spartans traveled to Penn St.-Behrend for their regular season finale and fell to the Lions, 7-0. D'Youville got a shot from Kaylee Heschke and Margret Leeds. Megan Dulniak and Clarice Byrne split time in goal for the Spartans as Dulniak made 11 saves and Byrne stopped three shots.
