    The Franciscan Barons look to bounce back this week after a close loss this past weekend. The Barons take on the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania on Wednesay night. The Barons are looking to record a win in their first conference matchup this season.
     Historically, the Barons are on an all-time 3 game win streak against the Yellow Jackets and will look to continue this tomorrow night, but on that same note, they are also 1-5 all-time against the Yellow Jackets on the road.
     I reached out to Junior defender, Angela Postage for what she thought were some keys to success and what the defense's mindset has been this season, and here's what she said: "The biggest key to stopping them will be awareness and urgency. As a defense we must step to every bouncing ball, be urgent in the box and on counterattacks and corner kicks and move as a unit. If we do that, through our communication and confidence, we will succeed. This is what we did to allow 0 shots on goal during our game against Hiram, we must execute that mentality again." Postage said. "Other teams can expect from our defense that we don't give up. After a breakdown, a mistake, or even a goal, we assess the issue and do our best to fix it. We work as a defense, succeed as a defense, and make mistakes as a defense."
