Highlights for the Women
- Nora Hilgeman was the line Baron under nine seconds in the 60m dash, as she posted a time of 8.99 seconds.
- Rebecca Bolster posted a time of 29.72 seconds in the 200m to place 37th.
- Jessica Campbell started the indoor season off in a big way, as she set a personal record in the 800m. Her time of 2:18.71 is the fifth fastest in program history, and upon completion, it was the 15th fastest in NCAA Division III this season. Lauren Dosch, the program's record holder in this event, placed eighth with a time of 2:21.97.
- Mary Grace Gauntner and Grace Sheets placed 37th and 38th in the mile.
- Emily Maag was the lone Baron under 12 minutes in the 3,000m, as she ran a time of 11:40.73 to place 19th. Annie Seida was not far behind her in 23rd place.
- Maria McInnis and Nora Hilgeman placed 28th and 29th in the long jump.
Highlights for the Men
- Headlining an impressive day for the men, Andrew Madigan won the 5,000m with a time of 15:28.14. That time was a new personal record, as he beat the field of 12 runners by nearly 30 seconds.
- In the 60m, a pair of Barons placed in the top eight. Joseph Rohde led the way in seventh with a time of 7.32 seconds, and Mark Biagi was right behind him in eighth with a time of 7.35 seconds.Â
- Dwayne Gethard posted a personal record time of 23.16 seconds in the 200m to place 21st. He also led the Barons in the 400m with a time of 51.82 seconds to place 16th.
- Freshman Daniel Bolster ran to a 29th-place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:20.53
- Luke Hurley posted a time of 4:38.65 in the mile to place 28th.
- Andrew Baird ran a time of 11:43.93 in the 3,000m to place 39th.
- Three Barons participated in the long jump, as Bolster did the best. His jump of 5.67m is the fourth best in program history, as he placed 24th today in this talented field.
Up Next
The Barons remain busy, as they head to Muskingum next weekend. They will compete in the Muskie Meet #2 in their newer facility in New Concord, Ohio. The Barons look to ramp up their efforts and peak for the PAC Championship in the end of February.
