Highlights for the Women

• Teresa Meli was the fastest of ten Barons to compete in the 5,000m. She posted a time of 19:38.98. Clara Gross posted a time under 20 minutes in 24th place.
• The distance medley relay team of Gianna Earl, Mary Kennedy, Kathryn Bolster, and Emily Maag posted a time of 13:38.28, the fourth-fastest time in program history.

Highlights for the Men

• Four Barons ran the 5,000m. Jack Mcknight was the first to finish with a time of 16:46.63. JohnLuke Rivers posted a time of 17:36.65
• Maxwell Bruns, Chris Geiger, Luke Hurley, and Micah Bragg ran the distance medley relay in a time of 10:58.10. That was also the fourth-fastest time in program history.

Highlights for the Women

• Maria McInnis was the lone Baron to compete in the 60m. She ran a time of 8.74 seconds in the prelims.
• Lauren Dosch placed seventh in the 400m with a time of 1:04.30, and Anne O'Boyle placed tenth, just a little over a second behind her.
• Dosch did even better in the 800m. She placed fourth with a time of 2:28.22. Kathryn Bolster was the next Baron to finish in 10th.
• Eight Barons ran the mile, and Clara Gross kept up her successful weekend by being the lone Baron under six minutes. 
• Emily Maag reached the podium in the 3000m with a time of 11:06.55 in fifth place.
• Maria McInnis had the fourth-best performance in school history in the long jump. Her best jump was 4.67m.

Highlights for the Men

• Andrew Menck continued his strong season by making the finals in the 60m. His prelim time of 7.26 seconds was his fastest of the day, and he placed seventh overall.
• Chris Geiger posted a time of 57.34 seconds in the 400m.
• Maxwell Bruns was the fastest Baron in the 800m with a time of 2:05.07 to place 10th.
• Four Barons placed among the top eight finishers in the mile. Luke Hurley led the way in second with a time of 4:31.49. Bruns placed fourth, Daniel Wilson finished sixth, and Micah Bragg was right behind him. 
• Seamus Sommers finished ninth in the 3000m with a time of 9:16.93.
• Ethan Neels placed seventh in the 60m hurdles with a time of 13.77 seconds. 
• AJ Gates had a season-best showing in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.08m.
• Andrew Menck nearly broke the program record in the long jump. On his final attempt, he jumped 5.88m, just .05 meters away from the program record that has stood since 2012.
• Nicholas Brass placed 16th in the shot put with a best throw of 12.49m.

Up Next
The Barons return to action at Kent State next weekend to participate in the Doug Raymond Invitational. They will have two more regular-season meets before the PAC Championship on February 26th.
