Highlights for the Women
- Mary Durnan had a best jump of 9.31m in the triple jump. That was the fifth-best in program history and 12th best in the PAC to qualify for the Championship.
- Katherine Ptak posted a time of 20:52.34 to place second in the 5000m. Anna Steimle placed fourth with a time of 21:25.67
Highlights for the Men
- On Friday, AJ Gates placed 5th in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.00m. He didn't improve upon his season-best showing, but he is still qualified for the upcoming championship.
- Andrew Menck broke the program record in the long jump, as he was the first Baron to clear six meters. He jumped 6.09m to qualify for the PAC Championship. He broke one of the oldest program records, as Blake Bonilla held a mark of 5.93m since 2012.
Up Next
The top 24 athletes in each event will qualify to compete in the PAC Indoor Championship. That will be on February 26th at YSU. Last season, the women placed 6th, and the men placed 9th, as they look to improve in 2026.Â
