The Latest

- Last Saturday, the Barons took down the Chatham Cougars by a score of 3-0. This accomplishment brings Franciscan to a standing of fourth place in the conference this season.

- In comparison to the last season, when the Barons had a record of 1-5-1 after seven games, the team is starting off stronger.

- The Barons have 15 goals so far this season, compared to its opponents' one.

Testing the Titans

- Also on a strong start, the Titans have won six out of its eight games. Last Wednesday at Allegheny, it tied the Gators by a score of 2-2.

- In comparison to the last season, when the Titans had a record of 0-4-4, it is having a much better start to the season.

- With five goals and 11 points scored for her team, Amelia Brose leads the Titans this season. Her and her teammate Madeline Barr have scored a total of five game winners so far this season.

Shining Newcomers

- In their first collegiate season, Lizzy Craig has led her team by scoring ten points, five shots on goal, and two game winners this season, while her teammate Michelle Lopez has scored eight points, had four shots on goal, and one game winner.

- Being a graduate student and also competing in her first soccer season at FUS, Theresa English has stepped up by scoring eight points and two goals so far this season.

Special Notes

- As it was with Wednesday, both Baron soccer team will play back to back against the same team at the same location.

- In the 14 games against the Titans, the Barons have won four, lost nine, and had one tie. During their last match last season, Franciscan won by a score of 1-0.
