The Latest

- With nine games behind the team, men's soccer now has two wins, four ties, and three losses. 

- Last Saturday, the Barons won by a score of 3-1 against the Thiel Tomcats. This win gives Franciscan a current standing of fourth place in the conference.

- During the game against the Tomcats, Noah Haggerty, Andrew Goduti, Aidan Mahony, and Anthony Vendetti led their team to victory by each contributing on the scoresheet.

Gazing at the Gators

- After 11 games this season, the Allegheny Gators have won four, tied six, and lost one game. With only one win in the conference games, the Gators are currently placed ninth in the conference.

- Last Saturday, during its game against Bryant and Stratton (Rochester), the Gators won by a score of 2-0. This game was also the Senior Day for the Gators.

- The leaders for Allegheny this season are Will Gruca and Nick Magee, scoring 12 and 11 points for their team, respectively. The two players have also contributed game-winners: Magee is in the lead with three this season and Gruca with one.

Rising Through the Ranks

- While the whole team persevered through the rain to a strong win, a few must be highlighted for their contributions. Haggerty, Goduti, and Mahony each scored one goal, while Vendetti and Haggerty assisted their teammates' goals.

- For the past five games since playing against Hiram, the Barons have not lost a single game.

- After the last game, Goduti has scored his first game-winner for the team this season.

Special Note

- Since 2022, Franciscan has played six games against Allegheny, winning four, losing one, and tying one. During their last matchup, the Barons won by a score of 5-2.
